Position Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Level 2 Trauma
• Location: Geneva, NY
• Shift: 4x12-Hour Shifts
• Schedule: Day/Night Rotation (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Rotation: Includes days, nights, weekends, and holiday rotations.

⚠️ Important Schedule & Contract Notes

• Holiday Commitment: Your contract must run through the holiday season .
• Time Off Restrictions: There is no guaranteed time off (RTO) for the three major holidays (typically Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). Plan accordingly.

Licensure & Certifications (Minimum Requirements)

• License: Must have a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license from New York State.
• Certifications (AHA/RQI Only):
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• Other Required Certs:
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Skills & Competencies

• Clinical: Must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care for patients across the life span (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric).
• Professional: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a team.
• Customer Focus: Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with a "Healing Environment," including professionalism, effective communication, and maintaining a safe and respectful patient environment.

Summary of Key Requirements for Applicants

1. NY RN License: Must be active and in good standing.
2. Core Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS from AHA/RQI.
3. Schedule Flexibility: Must be available for day/night/weekend/holiday rotation with no holiday time-off guarantees.
4. Holiday Season Commitment: Must be able to work through the end-of-year holiday season.
