Key Responsibilities
Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Observe patients’ progress and prepare reports for Registered Nurses
Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests
Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties
Required Qualifications
Completed some high school education
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
Completion of High School PCT competencies
Certification as a PCT (Certified Care Technician) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
Demonstrated competency in Phlebotomy
