Key Responsibilities
Drive new revenue from new customers
Build territory strategy and analyze performance
Qualify prospects based on customer size and potential
Schedule appointments and meet prospective customers
Utilize marketing materials for presentations
Attend conferences and events to gain new customers
Create and present custom pricing solutions
Leverage education contracts for customer growth
Ensure smooth transition to account management upon customer commitment
Meet and exceed quotas and key metrics
Maintain accurate records in CRM
Seek constant improvement and apply coaching
Work collaboratively with sales leadership and peers
Champion company values and services
Grow share of wallet by consolidating business from other vendors
Travel within territory for appointments and conferences
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
5+ years sales experience
6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
Ability to cover a territory of Los Angeles, CA and surrounding Southern CA area
Approximately 50% travel required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
Proven business development experience
