Job Description
Join BJ's Wholesale Club as an Entry Level Optical Specialist where you'll dispense optical products and provide exceptional service to members. This role allows you to support both adults and children in finding the right eyewear while working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing spectacles and other optical products
Advising and assisting patients with lenses and frames
Verifying order data entry and ensuring accuracy
Delivering excellent member service in person and over the phone
Educating patients on product benefits
Assisting Optical Manager with opening and closing procedures
Maintaining club policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Licensed to work as an optician within the State
Strong interpersonal skills
Organizational skills
Attention to detail
Open shift availability
At least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of optical products and business practices
High school diploma or college degree
Experience in big box wholesale, retail, and/or optical
