PCU RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Location: San Tan Valley, Arizona 85140
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
• On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility

PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years (24 months) recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience required
• Active Arizona RN license (verification within 30 days)
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• No license hits
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
• Candidates with an AZ home address on their driver’s license are ineligible
• Must meet facility-specific background and compliance requirements

PCU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Implement appropriate nursing interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
