Job Description
Join Uncommon Schools as a High School Math Teacher and empower students to become self-guided learners. You'll utilize your passion for mathematics to inspire and engage students, while collaborating with a supportive team to drive academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Math curriculum including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus
Support students in problem-solving and critical thinking
Foster confidence and engagement in mathematics
Analyze and respond to trends in student work
Build positive relationships with students and families
Engage in professional development and mentorship
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Academic expertise in Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or related fields
1-2 years experience in impacting K-12 students in urban schools and communities
Preferred Qualifications
Commitment to supporting students’ social emotional and academic development
Enthusiasm for collaborating with internal and external partners
Self-directed learner who solicits and implements feedback
