Key Responsibilities
Provide vision and leadership to support student achievement
Supervise staff and develop performance management plans
Analyze professional development needs and align them with instructional vision
Ensure safety of staff and students and maintain compliance with guidelines
Oversee day-to-day operations of the school
Drive the enrollment process and manage classroom placements
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Create and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Support development of measurable IEP goals
Implement evidence-based interventions
Provide crisis management intervention
Maintain accurate records of assessments and compliance activities
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in educational leadership, special education, applied behavior analysis or a closely related field
Meet all state and district licensing and/or certification requirements
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a BCBA credential
Minimum 5 years prior experience in special education services
Minimum 3 years prior experience in an educational leadership or school administrator position
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an educational leadership, administration, principal or similar credential
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a state special education credential
