Position Summary

A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a 13-week contract at New London Hospital in New London, NH. This role is a full-time position with a 40-hour guarantee, focusing on family medicine and clinic/triage work. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled clinician who can provide comprehensive nursing care within an outpatient setting.

Schedule & Pay

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Hours/Week: 40 hours guaranteed
• On-Call: Not required
• Weekend Requirements: TBD / Holidays required if needed

Responsibilities & Duties

The Family Medicine RN is responsible for using the nursing process and critical thinking to assess, plan, organize, and evaluate nursing care in an outpatient clinical environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care in a clinic setting.
• Performing phone triage to assess patient needs and provide appropriate guidance.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

Submission Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of current experience in a Family Medicine/Clinic setting is required.
  • Clinical office experience is required.
  • Phone Triage experience is required and must be noted on the profile.
  • Previous travel experience is preferred.
• EMR:
  • EPIC EMR experience is highly preferred.
• Licensure & Certifications:
  • A valid New Hampshire RN license or a compact license must be in hand at the time of submission.
  • BLS (AHA) certification is required.
• Other Requirements:
  • The traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
  • The candidate's permanent address must be included in their profile.
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of upload, with no more than 5 days accepted . Requests made after submission will not be approved.
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Holiday Coverage:
  • Travelers are required to work two of the following holiday periods:
    • Thanksgiving and the Friday/weekend after.
    • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after.
    • New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the Friday/weekend after.
