As a Controls Engineering Supervisor at Cytiva, you will lead a team of engineers to enhance operational technology performance in a state-of-the-art facility. You'll foster a culture of continuous improvement while managing budgets and resolving technology issues, contributing to life-saving solutions in the Life Sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of automation and systems engineers
Create a culture of development, problem solving, and continuous improvement
Manage budget and lifecycle of operational technology hardware and software
Resolve OT issues efficiently to prevent recurrence
Collaborate with associates in startup, qualification, and commissioning of manufacturing factory
Support computer system validation activities as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field
Experience in system management and support
Working knowledge of operational technology applications and lifecycle management
Great communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in chemical plant operations, mining/mineral processing, pulp or paper processing, or life science operations
Knowledge of applications like Oracle Process Manufacturing, Pas-X, Snitcher label printing, PI System, ABB 800xA, Rockwell PlantPAx, and Emerson DeltaV
Experience with full life cycle management of operational technologies
