Job Description

Join Boston Consulting Group as a Payroll Tax Analyst, where you'll play a key role in modernizing payroll functions while ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance. Collaborate with a dynamic team to drive transformation and provide exceptional client service in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tax accounting/withholding, reporting, analysis, and audit activities
  • Analyze and resolve queries related to tax
  • Calculate retroactive tax and gross to net calculations
  • Review and balance W-2 files
  • Ensure Tax Data Integrity for tax filing
  • Process W-2 Corrections and reissues
  • Provide client support for escalated tax and accounting issues
  • Maintain employee master tax data
  • Assist team leaders with complex payroll tax issues
  • Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree or comparable knowledge in payroll-related field
  • Minimum 3 years Payroll Tax experience
  • Strong attention to detail and execution
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized and capable of prioritizing workload
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of a team
  • Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Windows, Excel and PowerPoint
