• Float position – reassigned every 4 hours as needed
• May be pulled to ED and ED Observation units
• Typical patient ratio: max 1:6
• Level 3 Trauma Center

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant Emergency Department RN experience
• Certifications (Required):
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification)
  • MI State License RN 

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

✅ This role is best suited for an experienced ED RN comfortable in a float capacity across ED and ED Observation, with strong trauma and critical care skills.
