Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiological exams using appropriate imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and review medical records
Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history
Explain procedures to patients including risks and benefits
Acquire appropriate images and review for quality
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Provide post-care instructions as prescribed
Participate in quality improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Be available for call/standby as required
Required Qualifications
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
