The OTR Class A Owner Operator at Clean Harbors drives tractor-trailer units primarily on long-haul routes between El Dorado, AR and Reidsville, NC, covering 2800-3000 miles weekly. The role emphasizes safety compliance, proper handling and securing of hazardous and non-hazardous loads, and maintaining accurate trip documentation. Compensation includes mileage and hourly pay, with benefits such as bi-weekly home time and a strong safety culture.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in El Dorado, AR. This route runs from EL Dorado, AR to Reidsville, NC and other lanes as needed. Average miles 2800-3000 miles per week. OTR requiring 2-3 weeks out at a time.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and TANKER endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
• Ability to climb into trailers
