Key Responsibilities
Maintain core technical approaches for the lab and teach methods to lab members
Manage data depositions and regulatory procedures for the lab
Organize space use and lab duties of personnel
Supervise lab administrator and lab technicians
Contribute to the preparation of papers for publication
Oversee equipment maintenance and manage logistics of laboratory moves
Administer health and safety programs and ensure compliance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Two years of relevant experience
Understanding of academic research facility needs
Demonstrated supervisory experience
Knowledge and experience in managing facilities, operations, maintenance, space, and equipment administration in a research or teaching setting
Preferred Qualifications
General background in a discipline related to the work of specific lab(s)
Demonstrated experience managing multiple budgets
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects in a complex and technical environment
