Pulmonology Physician at Temple Health summary:

The Pulmonology Physician will join a collaborative team specializing in pulmonary and sleep medicine, providing outpatient and inpatient care for conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, COPD, asthma, and lung cancer. The role involves working a weekday in-office schedule with patient rounding at local hospitals and teaching medical trainees. Temple Physicians, Inc. is seeking another outstanding pulmonary medicine specialist to join an established team! Board eligible/certified pulmonary medicine physicians are encouraged to apply!

Highlights:
• Join a collaborative, well-established team of six pulmonary and sleep medicine specialists at the new Temple Lung Center at Yardley
• Enjoy a combination of outpatient sleep study and pulmonary patient care along with inpatient pulmonary consult duties
• Provide expertise in the diagnosis and care of a wide variety of conditions including obstructive sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and lung cancer
• Work a Monday Friday (830am-5pm) in-office schedule combined with patient rounding at two nearby Bucks County hospitals
• Teach Temple Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine trainees
• Take advantage of institutional support from a major academic medical center while working in a community-focused suburban setting in beautiful Bucks County, PA.

Candidate Qualifications
• M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
• Successful completion of fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine from an ACGME-accredited program
• Board eligibility or certification in Pulmonary Medicine. Additional certification in Sleep Medicine preferred.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license & DEA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment
