Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a long-term assignment in our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and professional nursing care, ensuring service excellence and adherence to established protocols. This role requires strong critical thinking and the ability to contribute to the overall performance of a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care by assessing patient needs, planning individualized care, and implementing interventions consistent with a holistic, age-specific approach.
- Maintain a professional image and foster an environment of caring and respect for all patients, families, and colleagues.
- Utilize service excellence standards and conduct hourly patient rounds.
- Ensure patient and staff safety by using appropriate health and safety equipment and following standard procedures for high-risk care.
- Contribute to the daily performance of the department, including serving as a Charge Nurse when assigned.
- Precept new employees and participate in hospital-system initiatives to advance evidence-based practices.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth through continuous learning and goal setting.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Emergency Room RN.
- Skill: Proven expertise in emergency room nursing.
- Licensure: RN license is required.
