Job Description
Join New Directions Mental Health as a Child and Adolescent Therapist, where you will empower youth and families through tailored mental health care in a supportive environment. Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance community well-being and foster your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations and agency meetings
Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans
Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
Experience in working with children and families
Provisional license per state regulation (if required)
Educational background leading to professional licensing
Passion for mental health and commitment to high-quality care
Dedication to ongoing professional development in mental health
Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
