Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Typical schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Riverton campus
• Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
• Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors
• Explain procedures to patients including side effects, risks, benefits, and follow-up
• Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images per protocol
• Review images, make initial observations, and communicate data to radiologist
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate
• Provide physician-prescribed post-care instructions to patients
• Participate in process improvement activities and quality assurance
• Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
• Available for call/standby duties as required by department
• May perform duties of Radiologic Technologist as needed
• Must have ARRT certification in CT Tech and Radiology
• Must have BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years recent CT and Radiology experience required
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be familiar with GE CT and X-ray machines
