WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Case Management for a local contract nursing job in Staten Island, New York.
Job Description & RequirementsOur client, one of the largest non-profit OPWDD organizations in Staten Island, New York. Specializing in the care of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including various levels of Cerebral Palsy, the organization is seeking a Registered Nurse.
Job Function:
Provide direct nursing care to a 14-bed unit of adult patients housed in the ICD-A Day program.
Serve as the sole RN on shift, taking full responsibility for clinical decision-making and patient oversight.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with support staff and maintain clear documentation to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
Job Requirements:
Active New York State RN license.
1-2 years of RN experience within an OPWDD setting.
Current BLS certification.
