Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a part-time School Speech-Language Pathologist for a Pre-K assignment in Washington requiring an active WA SLP license, ESA, and ability to travel during the workday.
Responsibilities
- Work in a school-based setting primarily with Pre-K students
- Part-time schedule, 2 days per week, 8 hours per day, totaling 15 billable hours per week
- Day shift, typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Potential to travel between children’s homes and other job-related locations during the workday
- Assignment is a leave coverage with the possibility of extension
- Provide speech and language therapy services to Pre-K students as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Travel to different educational or home locations to deliver services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Resume required for consideration
- ESA certification must be active prior to start; conditional ESA will not be supported but the school can help expedite the process if needed
Requirements
- Active Washington SLP license required for consideration
- Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
- ASHA CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Valid Washington State driver’s license required
- Ability to travel independently between locations
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Not accepting Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- License required if applicable
