Key Responsibilities
Provide treatments to patients by evaluating their function and selecting appropriate treatments
Participate in interdisciplinary approaches for community education and clinical education of students
Conduct evaluations and modify treatment plans based on patient symptoms and activity levels
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities
Document patient progress and adhere to insurance guidelines
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs
