Join Samaritan Health Services as a Pharmacy Purchasing Coordinator, where you'll oversee purchasing activities, ensure compliance with contracts, and maintain inventory levels across the pharmacy system. This role is crucial for optimizing pharmaceutical care and managing vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate system purchasing program activities
  • Monitor compliance with purchasing contracts
  • Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels
  • Manage shortages and backorders
  • Coordinate annual physical inventory
  • Serve as primary contact for purchasing vendors

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or enrollment as a first-year PharmD student with an Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license
  • Three (3) years pharmacy technician and purchasing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Epic Inpatient Willow
  • 340B experience
