Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Morgantown, WV (Zip: 26506) – West Virginia healthcare jobs
• Facility: Acute care, Level 1 trauma center
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Charting System: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (or willingness to obtain West Virginia RN licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in Stepdown, MedSurg, Telemetry, or related clinical support roles
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Level 1 trauma center experience and prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology units
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown, MedSurg, and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC
• Float to various units including Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Oncology, and General Medicine
• Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios (1:3 for Stepdown, 1:6 for MedSurg/Telemetry)
• Participate in block scheduling and work assigned night shifts
