Join our well-established Oral & Facial Surgery Center as a Surgical Dental Assistant. In this full-time role, you'll support our team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring treatment readiness, and maintaining a smooth workflow in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient schedule and charts for treatment readiness
Open office and operatories for the day
Obtain and record medical and dental histories
Obtain dental radiographs and cone beam scans
Provide a high level of patient experience
Assist in managing medical and dental emergencies
Provide post-operative instructions
Maintain clinical notes and patient charts
Collaborate with office staff for schedule management
Adhere to infection-control policies
Close out operatories at the end of shift
Maintain dental & medical supplies inventory
Assist with daily office cleaning responsibilities
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of Surgical or Dental assisting experience
Preferred Qualifications
LPN or RN with surgical experience
Knowledge of oral surgery or dental practice and procedures
Excellent communication skills
Reliable and organized
Completion of a dental assisting program
Radiology certification
CPR Certification
DAANCE training
