Emergency Room/ICU Float Pool RN | November Start – Pleasanton
Start Date: November 2025 | 16-Week Contract

We’re seeking an experienced ER/ICU Float Pool RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Pleasanton, California. This is an excellent opportunity to work across two high-acuity units and contribute to a flexible, fast-paced care environment.

Position Highlights

• Location: Pleasanton, CA
• Setting: Hospital – Emergency Room & Intensive Care Unit Float Pool
• Start Window: November 2025
• Contract Length: 16 weeks, with potential for extension
• Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)
• Shift: Days

Required Qualifications

• Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)
• CA RN License
• Must have direct experience working in both ER and ICU units (not just floating between them)
• Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (American Heart Association)
• Experience:
  • EPIC EMR proficiency
  • Previous travel RN experience

Additional Compliance Requirements

• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required
• Computer proficiency required

What You’ll Do:
Float between the Emergency Room and ICU, providing high-quality care to patients with critical and emergent needs, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital-based setting.
