A transplant surgery physician specializes in cardiothoracic transplantation, performing heart and lung transplants and participating in organ procurement and advanced surgical techniques. This role involves clinical duties such as evaluation of transplant organs, ex-vivo perfusion procedures, ECMO management, and post-transplant care within a leading cardiac surgery program. The position also offers opportunities for research, education, and development of expertise in both transplant and non-transplant cardiac surgeries.

Graduate of a US ACGME-accredited Thoracic Surgery Integrated Residency, Thoracic Surgery Traditional Fellowship, or Canadian accredited Cardiothoracic Residency.
