Key Responsibilities
Perform echocardiogram procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics
Review patient history and physician's orders
Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment
Independently perform echocardiography procedures
Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
Monitor patient condition and report changes
Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures
Analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
