Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Dallas, TX 75230 – Prime North Dallas healthcare location with thriving urban amenities.
• Unit: Oncology Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 10 beds
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: August 11, 2025 – End: November 10, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00PM – 7:00AM), rotating weekends
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1360-$1460
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proven experience with ventilators, titrating drips, and Bipap patients
• Preferred: CRRT and transplant (kidney, pancreas, liver) nursing experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus
• Ability to float to all ICU, PCU, and Bone Marrow Transplant units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including turning, titrating drips, dressing changes, and trach care
• Monitor and manage patients using advanced ICU equipment: ventilators, CRRT, A-line, Bipap, Flow-track, IV pumps
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team of nurses, physicians, and support staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech EMR
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts and float to designated critical care units as needed
• Adhere to unit policies, clinical guidelines, and dress code (blue scrubs)
