Job Description

Join Sanofi as an Associate Director of Pricing, where you'll drive pricing initiatives for specialty care brands. Collaborate with diverse teams to develop market access strategies, and make an impactful contribution to the healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing stakeholders and senior management with relevant pricing and reimbursement information
  • Partnering with Value and Access teams to design U.S. specific pricing and market access strategies
  • Assisting deal teams on customer bids/offers ensuring alignment with brand strategy
  • Designing and developing pricing models to evaluate launch strategies
  • Modeling the impact of life cycle pricing strategies and legislative measures
  • Supporting Brand Financial projections by providing insight on market dynamics
  • Assisting with the approval and execution of list price changes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or related area
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Basic knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system and reimbursement environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and executive presence
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Meticulous organizational skills and auditable accuracy in work product
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
  • Advanced ability in using common analytical and communications tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
  • Ability to travel to key meetings and conventions

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/MSA degree
  • Experience in a pricing capacity or relevant experience in Contract development
  • Understanding of contract modeling and GTN projections process
  • Understanding of drug pricing, including First Databank and/or Medispan data sources
  • Knowledge of government pricing calculations (AMP, Best Price, ASP)
