We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our maternity care team. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth, ensuring the health and safety of both mother and baby. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, monitor, and care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates, uterine contractions, and maternal vital signs.
  • Assist with all types of deliveries, including vaginal births, cesarean sections, and high-risk cases.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, epidurals, and other treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide emotional support and patient education to mothers and families.
  • Perform immediate newborn care and assessments, including APGAR scoring.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Respond to obstetric emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress.

• Telemetry experience required • Minimum of 2 years of experience, 1 Year Cerner experience • This is a Medical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Float position • They may also be floated to care for ED holds when needed • Staff must have ACLS, BLS certification
