Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the food service department
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, and nutritionally appropriate meals
Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and maintain menus
Participate in completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments
Manage food service operations including staffing, purchasing, food preparation, and sanitation
Conduct regular evaluations of food quality and service standards
Required Qualifications
Qualified Dietitian or nutrition-related Bachelor's Degree
Food service management course (Certified Dietary Manager or Dietary Technician)
Experience with food preparation in a long-term care setting
