Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician and make a significant impact in the lives of children and young adults facing mental health crises. Provide culturally competent crisis interventions and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure effective treatment and support in the Staten Island community.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals within specified time frames
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Create safety plans in collaboration with clients and families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Assist with intake processes for new consumers
Collaborate with Family Advocates
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual clinicians preferred for relevant populations
Proficient reading and writing in English
