Key Responsibilities
Cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment
Collaborating with other departments to ensure availability of supplies and equipment for surgical cases
Serving as a patient safety advocate
Required Qualifications
Coursework/Training and Successful completion of a sterile processing course
1 year of healthcare experience
National Certified Registered Central Service Technician or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician within 18 months of hire
Experience using personal computer and basic software programs
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of Sterile processing experience
