Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and manage wait times
  • Assist with intake processes and document copying
  • Collect co-payments and issue receipts
  • Manage cashier box and daily deposits
  • Process walk-in patients and visitors
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Manage medical records
  • Ensure timely correspondence scanning and filing
  • Run insurance eligibility for patients
  • Process medical record release requests
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 6+ months of experience in a healthcare or customer service-related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years working in a medical front office position
  • Experience working with medical insurance
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of EMR software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
