• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), rotating Monday–Friday
• Weekend Rotation: Yes, on-call required
• Holiday Coverage: On-call required for holidays
• Floating: Occasional floating to Endoscopy unit
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,490 - $2,670

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room circulating experience (required)
• 3+ years of OR RN experience preferred
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and float to Endoscopy as needed

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver circulating nursing care in the Operating Room for diverse surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards
• Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
• Respond to surgical emergencies and participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays
• Float to Endoscopy unit as needed to provide clinical support
