Join Cargill as a Boiler Technician where you'll maintain industrial ammonia systems and ensure safety in a fast-paced environment. You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on sustainable practices, contributing to high-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the maintenance of the facility's industrial ammonia system
Participate in preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance
Know or learn various systems and applications, such as CMMS and Process Safety Management
Document completed work and conditions found using maintenance software
Operate forklifts and scissor lifts
Interact regularly with peers and management for continuous improvement
Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to work in the US without humanitarian Parole status related to Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua or Venezuela
Must be able to read/write English
Must have simple math skills, including fractions and algebra
Must be able to pass a HAZMAT physical, which includes a pulmonary function exam
Facility HAZMAT membership is required
Electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration experience is required
