Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details

• Location: Hyannis, MA (Cape Cod region, 02601)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Float Pool
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 4, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday; potential to float between campuses
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care facility (within the last 2 years)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Must pass facility Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start
• Strong communication skills in English
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), ACLS certification, experience with cardiac patient care, and specialty certifications (Oncology, Orthopedic, Dialysis, Chemotherapy, etc.)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Document assessments and care plans, addressing physical, psychological, and social needs
• Serve as a clinical resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education
• Demonstrate proficiency in nursing informatics and charge nurse duties
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital safety protocols
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in nursing committees
• Represent the hospital professionally within the healthcare facility and community
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing supervisor
