PCU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Middle Township, NJ 08210 (Jersey Shore area)
• Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with float to Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) and similar clinical units
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, Friday–Sunday (Nights/Weekends)
• Contract Duration: 8-week nursing contract, potential for extension
• Start Date: November 23, 2025
• End Date: January 17, 2026
• On-Site RN Position
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must be available during holidays (no holiday RTO)

PCU RN Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience at a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license (RN license in good standing)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
• Fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19, including at least one booster
• Ability to float to Medical Surgical Telemetry and similar units as needed
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

PCU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Progressive Care Unit patients during night and weekend shifts
• Float to Medical Surgical Telemetry and related clinical units as required
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a busy New Jersey healthcare setting
