Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as the Assistant Director of Adult Residential Services, where you'll lead a dedicated team supporting adults with serious mental illness. This role emphasizes supervision, training, and collaboration to ensure residents achieve independence and recovery goals in a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Social Workers, Case Managers, and Case Associates
Ensure programmatic systems meet clients' safety and service needs
Provide ongoing training and guidance to staff
Review and evaluate assessments and service plans for compliance
Participate in case conferences and administrative meetings
Collaborate with other departments for program needs
Conduct apartment administrative walkthroughs
Document work in electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
LCSW, MSW, or other clinical qualification preferred
Minimum of five years' experience
Experience working with adults diagnosed with mental illness, homelessness, and substance abuse history
Strong supervisory skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
MPA, MPH, or related degree
Experience in housing and supportive housing programs
