Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with standards of care
Assist in coordination of patient services
Participate in daily huddles with care team
Complete medical record documentation in a timely manner
Meet with Regional Medical Director about quality of care
Participate in local primary care on-call program
Ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting bodies
Required Qualifications
Current and unrestricted medical license
Graduate of accredited MD or DO program
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of skill with interpersonal relationships
Fully engaged in integrated team-based care model
Willingness to learn/adapt to value-based care setting
Basic computer skills, including email and EMR
Preferred Qualifications
Board Certification or Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
Active and unrestricted DEA license
Medicare Provider Number
Minimum of two to five years applicable experience
Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel
Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
Bilingual
Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators
