Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, TX

This opportunity offers General Medicine Providers a chance to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in a supportive environment. Work from your own office while contributing to the health and well-being of those who served.

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• No prescribing or treatment required.
• Complete required administrative follow-up work, including addendums and medical opinions.
• Availability for half days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours) on a PRN basis.
• Collaborate with a network of professionals committed to serving Veterans.

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular issues.
• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• AANP certification required.
• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine preferred.

• Valid medical license number.
• AANP certification number.
• Must have a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Current address listed on CV for presentation purposes.
