### Job Description: Night Shift Critical Care Registered Nurse
**Location:** Cleveland, OH
**Shift Type:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
**Unit:** Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) for the night shift. This position involves working 3x12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting vital signs and observations accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with best practices and protocols.
- Conduct ECG rhythm recognition tests and participate in orientation assessments.
- Cross-train and float to other units as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 18 months of recent critical care or ICU experience.
- At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty being applied for prior to travel assignments.
- A valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; NIHHS certification is preferred.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
**Travel Requirements:**
- Must be open to working in a nicotine-free facility.
- Background checks will be conducted, and candidates must pass all screenings before starting.
- Onsite fingerprinting is required before the start date.
