Job Description
Join Cleveland Clinic’s M50 Pediatric Nursing Unit, where you will provide innovative care for pediatric hematology and oncology patients. As an RN, you will play a vital role in enhancing the treatment experience for children and their families while benefiting from extensive professional development resources.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Carry out physician and nursing orders
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs
Educate patients and their families
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification for RNs in Children's Hospital
