Key Responsibilities
Generate designs and develop specifications
Document floor plan layouts and architectural systems
Interpret technical requirements for unique equipment systems
Develop architectural documentation and cost estimates
Conduct programming interviews and document existing conditions
Consult with customers on architectural issues
Ensure compliance with APL standards
Perform constructability and compliance reviews
Conduct design sessions at the project site
Review documents for code alignment
Incorporate Sustainable Design solutions into projects
Required Qualifications
BS or equivalent in Architecture
Registered in the state of Maryland or in the process of getting registered
5+ years of experience as a Registered Architect
Proficient in Revit
Knowledge of architectural building systems
Knowledge of Building SMART, BIM, and IDP
Ability to work with design teams on multiple projects
Valid state driver's license
Ability to obtain Top Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Registered LEED AP
