Key Responsibilities
Determine program SOW and customer component application requirements
Provide technology insertion and parts selection/standardization guidance
Interface with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Create component verification data packages
Provide applications engineering support to program IPTs
Facilitate component selection and library application
Present results in support of program design reviews
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience
Experience with Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process
Experience with the development of associated component data/drawings
Experience with BOM (Bill of Material) development and management
Experience in design with integrated circuits, semiconductors, and passives
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Effective communication skills
Ability to navigate complex processes
Understanding of technical theories related to electronic components
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of Mentor Graphics Expedition or Design Architect
Knowledge of component reliability processes
Knowledge of military and aerospace component applications
