Job Description
Phaxis Education is hiring a Clinical Psychologist to support preschool students (ages 3–5) in a school-based setting in Scarsdale, NY . You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of educators and specialists to provide psychological services for children with developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs. Classrooms follow 8:1:2 and 12:1:2 staffing models for optimal support.
Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized behavior plans
- Provide counseling and crisis support as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and help set developmental goals
- Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology (required)
- New York State licensure or eligibility (required)
- Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
