RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule of 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
• Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• 13-week assignment duration with ASAP start preferred
• Float pool position requiring willingness to work between departments and four facilities
• Must have telemetry experience to apply
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio typically 1:6, or 1:4-5 in ED holding area
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Arizona nursing license required
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• Float between Med Surg departments (Ortho/Neuro), Telemetry, and potentially PCU based on skill level
• May care for admitted patients in ED area waiting for bed availability
• Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and provide leadership in patient care planning
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel
