Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and facilitate registrations and admissions
Gather demographic, financial, and insurance information
Ensure timely registration and promote patient satisfaction
Provide customer service to patients and colleagues
Verify insurance coverage and financial clearance
Collect payments and reconcile cash collections
Support hospital cashier functions
Maintain accurate patient records and bed assignments
Participate in training and staff development
Required Qualifications
Customer service experience
High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Patient Access experience
Knowledge in all aspects of registration, Non-Federal and Federal billing regulations, and state programs such as Charity Care
