Key Responsibilities
Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and styling
Operate and maintain grooming instruments
Monitor pets for signs of discomfort or illness
Provide customer service and grooming recommendations to pet parents
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the grooming area
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco
Previous experience as a professional groomer
Expert knowledge of various dog breeds and grooming requirements
Strong attention to detail
Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
Preferred Qualifications
High-school diploma or GED
Completion of a technical grooming training program
Strong verbal and written communication skills
