As the Floating Deli Manager, you will lead the Deli Department to provide excellent products and customer service while managing expenses and inventory. You will supervise a team, ensure compliance with company standards, and work closely with management on sales strategies and merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales and gross profit goals
Maintain control of supply and payroll expenses, inventory, and waste
Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed
Order sufficient quantities of raw materials
Maintain quality and freshness of products
Oversee stocking and display of deli products
Collaborate with Store Manager on merchandising and sales trends
Maintain a sanitary department
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Cooperate with other departments for sales promotions
Supervise Deli Department employees
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2-4 years of related experience and/or training
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Effective communication skills
Mathematical skills for calculations
Problem-solving abilities
