Job Description

As the Floating Deli Manager, you will lead the Deli Department to provide excellent products and customer service while managing expenses and inventory. You will supervise a team, ensure compliance with company standards, and work closely with management on sales strategies and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and gross profit goals
  • Maintain control of supply and payroll expenses, inventory, and waste
  • Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed
  • Order sufficient quantities of raw materials
  • Maintain quality and freshness of products
  • Oversee stocking and display of deli products
  • Collaborate with Store Manager on merchandising and sales trends
  • Maintain a sanitary department
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Cooperate with other departments for sales promotions
  • Supervise Deli Department employees

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Effective communication skills
  • Mathematical skills for calculations
  • Problem-solving abilities
